My brother emailed this to me with the note “Wish we could have done something like this…”, and I thought to myself “Why didn’t I?” (the universal “I”…don’t get me wrong, we had a wonderful very non-traditional wedding)

Why don’t people do more things like this? Life is too serious by nature to make the significant moments follow the same suit. Where are the funerals that are like this? Graduations? Baptisms?

I believe my life would be better if I had regular moments like this one.

(Not gonna lie, I teared up.)
